Changtai G654 is a very steady color with small grain, blue black color, especially, always deliver at a favorable price.
but now, things changed, it's not cheap, it's quite crazy, not as humble as it used to be.
We Chinese stone peers are all working hard to find a substitute, like there are Shandong new G654, Hainan new G654, Xiamen new G654.
In the absence of Changtai G654, people name their granites New G654 as long as it's grey or a little dark grey. never care about their clients' feelings, 'what, another New G654 again...', never care about if it's black grey enough, if it's small grain.
So embarrassed that... we also have a New G654
, after comparing so many new G654 from Shandong, Hainan and Xiamen, we concluded that this is the closest to original G654 color.
Anyway, at least we have to give it a try, maybe someday it will be steady and good enough to replace the original G654 granite.
